The second I saw the skirt and cardigan, I knew I had to put the two together. I've been obsessed with tights lately. They've become my fashion addiction.

ModCloth has some adorable curvy clothes and I just had to use them to put some sets together.

It started with the shirt and socks. I decided that the two had to be paired together and the second I saw the gumball machine necklace, I knew I was on the right track. Not sure if I like the sweater. It seemed a bit frumpy, hence the one bare side. I think together the bag and the shoes might be worth more than my entire closet...

Pretty much got addicted to my Metric station on Pandora after listening to Black Sheep repeatedly. I loved the idea of layering it on. I'd imagine the jacket would eventually come off, exposing the shirt underneath, and the sheer patterned skirt over those shorts and sexy tights just beg for flirty and playful skirt flipping and movement. I love the idea of a bold ring decorating the hand gripping the mic and those shoes just screamed front-woman material (as long as she has better balance than I do!).

She was always immensely fasionable, no matter where she was going. She pulled her coat closer to her as the unforgiving Midwest November chill hit her bare face. She bypassed all the lavish theaters, swanky lounges, and fancy theaters, settling on a rather humble looking bar that had something the rest of those places did not. She set her eyes on the stage, ignoring all the stares and cat calls the other patrons set her way. She walked over to the bored pianist, who was hitting single keys just for something to do, and whispered her selection into his ear. As he took proper posture, she took the mic, pulling off her coat and closing her eyes. Taking a breath and waiting for her cue, she hoped that maybe... this time... she could defy gravity.
